Board of Education (BOE)
The Board of Education is the governing body of the Greenwich Public Schools (11 elementary, 3 middle schools and one high school). Â The Board oversees matters of great importance to parents including the teaching curriculum and spending priorities. Â The Board consists of eight elected members serving four year terms with four members elected every two years. Â There are four members from each party. Â The chair is selected by the members, but if they can't agree, the Board of Selectmen chooses.
