Greenwich Districts

The Town of Greenwich covers 60 square miles, half of which is shoreline. The Town is divided into 12 Voting Districts covering 65,000 residents. The public schools serve 8,600 studens but even more students are served by private schools such as Brunswick, Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Country Day, Greenwich Catholic, Sacred Heart, Eagle Hill, Whitby, etc. The Town has its own golf course - The Griff, but there are multiple private golf clubs including Round Hill Club, Stanwich, Burning Tree, Greenwich Country Club and Innis Arden. Other clubs serving sailors include Belle Haven, Indian Harbor and Riverside. Unique to the Town are many hiking preserves such as Babcock, Fairchild Gardens and Mianus and miles of riding trails that traverse back country. It's less than a one hour train ride to mid-town Manhattan served by stops in Greenwich, Cos Cob, Riverside and Old Greenwich.
