Bad ending for one of four hooded car thieves prowling around Greenwich's Putnam Hill

On Wednesday, January 22, around 4:30 am, Greenwich police arrested Jovanni Jesus Quinones of Brdgeport, CT. He was driving a stolen Volvo on West Putnam Avenue.

Police had responded to a report of four hooded subjects looking into cars at the Putnam Hill residences off Milbank Avenue in central Greenwich. Two cars sped off down East Putnam Avenue, then split up with one fleeing onto I-95 Northbound.

Another vehicle, a Volvo, traveled westbound from Milbank Avenue to the Shell gas station at 401 West Putnam Avenue where he was arrested. Quinones was on probation for a "weapons in a motor vehicle" violation from 2021.
