Beloved Greenwich pastry shop closed forever

In operation since 1939, Swiss pastry shop St Moritz located at the bottom of Greenwich Avenue will close permanently after Saturday April 26.

Everything at St. Moritz was handmade and baked on premise using fresh butter, cream and imported European chocolate.

Some favorites include chocolate mousse cakes, Sarah Bernhardt cookies, quiche lorraine, linzer tarts and Kringle pastry.

Between the Lines - The St Moritz chocolate mousse cake was a "must have" if you were celebrating a birthday in Greenwich.
