Are you one of 75,000 CT residents who commute to NY? An unusual incentive appeared in the CT budget encouraging CT remote workers to sue NY to recoup taxes. If the lawsuit succeeds, the remote worker will pay the lower CT rate plus receive a credit of 50% against those CT taxes. Covers the years 2020-23. This could take years and legal expenses (may need to go to Supreme Court). A long shot, but but may be worth it.
