Democrat protesters will take to the streets of hundreds of towns and cities nationwide on Saturday, April 5, as part of a mass mobilization against DOGE, the Trump Administration efficiency efforts. They claim that "Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They are taking everything they can get their hands on, and daring the world to stop them."
Backers of the rally include controversial groups such as MoveOn, SEIU and Working Families Power listed here and many of these groups are funded by wealthy Democrat Party donors such as the Soros organization.
In Greenwich, sign making starts at 9:15 am ahead of protests that will begin at 9:45 am in front of the Board of Education Havemeyer building at 290 Greenwich Avenue. Speakers include Congressman Jim Himes (D-CT) and Attorney General William Tong (D-CT). At 10:15 am the group will march down Greenwich Avenue to the train station to travel either to a rally in Bryant Park, NYC or rallies in Stamford or New Haven, CT.
Between the Lines: Attendees are encouraged to wear white, bring a sign and carry noisy drums and tambourines. No one is being encouraged to carry American flags.
