Greenwich High School wants to reduce stress caused by exams

This week Greenwich Public School Superintendent Toni Jones put forth the idea of new grading standards at Greenwich High School that would put mental health first. The idea would be to reduce the weight of the mid term and final exams that go toward the student's final grade. Thus, lowering standards in order to reduce anxiety and stress.

Between the Lines - Perhaps students at GHS should have a choice. Do you want the Stress-Free Low Standard Track or the Stressful High Standard Track? Choose wisely. As Morpheus said in the Matrix movie - Do you want the blue pill (wonderland) or the red pill (reality)?
