Linda McMahon has been appointed by the Trump campaign to co-chair the transition team for the upcoming re-election. She is a Greenwich resident who was head of the Small Business Administration in the first Trump administration and built the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) with her husband Vince.
She is joined by Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald to lead the transition team. Lutnick built Cantor Fitzgerald into a bond trading powerhouse and successfully rebuilt the firm after a devastating loss of 650 employees in the September 2001 World Trade Center attack.
Between the lines: These two billionaire campaign donors are seasoned executives who have built and run successful businesses. Much stronger than 2016 when Chris Chistie was in charge.
