Early morning on Thursday, firefighters were on the scene of a heavy volume fire in a mansion style residential structure located at 62 Ridge Street near the corner of Bruce Avenue. Due to the size of the fire, the Greenwich Fire Department were assisted by Stamford Fire Rescue and Greenwich Volunteer units.
The house was under renovation and no one was home. According to the Greenwich TIme, the roof collapsed in the morning, floors had collapsed inside and homes on both sides were also damaged.
Between the lines: This 10,419 square foot house with 5 bedrooms and 7 baths was sold on May 17, 2024 for $6.7 million.
