A new vestibule entryway to Greenwich High School has welcomed students this Fall. It was built to improve security at the high school at a cost of about $3.5 million.
Here are some of the security features:
-The entry is one story, ADA accessible with a 1,100 square foot secure addition
-The entry is visible to the main office.
-A security workstation inside is visible to all doors.
-The outdoor courtyard contains a new video surveillance and security system.
Between the lines: Also, the glass is blast and bullet resistant.
