NY man intentionally hits, then assaults scooter driver on North Street, Greenwich

Efrain Melendez-Guerra, 42, from Port Chester NY was arrested over the weekend. He intentionally drove his SUV into the back of a scooter and then physically assaulted the scooter driver in the roadway. The scooter driver was seriously injured.
It happened on Saturday April 5, in the area of 941 North Street, Greenwich, at 7:25 am. Melendez-Guerra was charged with reckless driving; failure to drive upon right; improper passing-unsafe distance; operating a motor vehicle-harrass/intimidation; breach of peace, assault and reckless endangerment.
