Since the ban began on gas powered leaf blowers in late May, police have been flooded with calls. An average of five calls a day have been reported.
According to First Selectman Fred Camillo "What has been disappointing is some of the people who have gone out and started screaming at landscapers, which is not only a horrible look for them, it stains the town when that type of behavior is exhibited."
