Climate activists from UK-founded Extinct Rebellion wearing “No Golf on a Dead Planet” shirts set off smoke bombs as they storm the green at the 18th hole of the PGA final in Cromwell, CT. Play was delayed about 15 minutes as protestors were detained by police.
Golfer Bhatia says this is “just weird stuff”. Winner Scottie Scheffler said it was “definitely a bit weird”.
