
According to this Greenwich Time story, Harry Fisher, Republican Chair of the powerful town budget board (BET), is at odds with his Republican colleagues, who together have voting majority. Fisher has voted outside of his party block more than usual.
However, for Greenwich taxpayers, the most important statements in this story were made by Republican member Karen Fassuliotis.
She said, Republicans should stay focused on the "potentially unprecedented tax increase" in the budget, less on public disagreements.
