What seems to be a petty battle over who takes credit for election success/failures exposes a serious rift in the Republican Town Committee. Is it the very moderate Fred Camillo/Lauren Rabin team who claim credit for success? Or is credit due to the Republican Town Party led by a growing group of more vocal fighters than in the past? Or maybe both. On March 5, local recall elections in Districts 2, 4, 5, 8 and 9 will determine the power brokers who will select the Republican candidates going into battle against the Democrat machine. United we stand, divided we fall.
